The Countertop Sealer 880 is the sealer to choose if you are looking for a natural finish. I have tried both the 511 sealer and the 880, the 511 left little spots on my honed marble countertop whereas the Countertop 880 product dried completely clear and invisible, you cant even tell it is there. My countertops are very porous and prior to sealing a stain would soak in and etch within seconds. Since we sealed the countertops there is a noticeable difference as to how low we can keep ketchup, mustard, oils etc. on the countertop before it starts to stain. I would recommend this product.

I tried both the Countertop 770 sealer and the Countertop 880 sealer and I found that you can leave spills on a countertop sealed with the 880 longer than the 770. They both left clear finishes, you cant even tell they are there, but the countertop sealed with the 880 has a lot let stains. (880 has more of an odor when we were applying it). I understand that these are penetrating sealers so they don’t completely keep out stains, but they make clean up breeze vs if the countertops are not sealed.

First off let me say I am very impressed with this Ghostshield product and I give it a 5 star rating. Pros: natural finish, very water repellent, gives me time to clean up spills before they stain the countertops. Cons: Smelly during application but then the smell went away within a few hours of sealing.

The best countertop sealer I have used on my concrete countertops, I did not want a gloss or sheen and this left the countertops looking exactly the same as they did before we sealed them.
